The Spiritual Side of EMF Sensitivity – Ghosts, That Is…

IMG_1904Happy Halloween!  To help celebrate this autumn holiday, I will explain the relationship between ghosts and EMFs.

As I’ve personally experienced it…

Though I’ve been seeing ghosts since I was a child**, my most memorable encounter happened when I was twenty-eight, in October no less. I’d been invited to go camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Unfamiliar with the area, I happily turned the keys over to a friend…

We drove for hours and stopped for dinner before getting to the park. We made quick work of setting up the tent and gathering wood for a fire. A layer of frost covered everything and I could see my breath as I looked for kindling while the others hunted for dry wood.  My compatriots didn’t disappoint and we soon had a cozy fire to warm us.

Warming my hands, I made small talk with a fellow camper. Remembering it was my brother’s birthday, I explained I was going to hike back to the ranger cabin and use the payphone to call him. I turned my head and started to get up, but froze.

Standing on the opposite side of the rather large campfire, staring straight at me, was a ghost wearing a  Civil War uniform; its color told me he’d fought for the Union side. His expression was a mix of shock and horror and his mouth opened and closed as if he couldn’t decide whether or not to scream.

Seeing how frightened and confused he was, my heart went out to him. I could only imagine what I must have looked like in my jeans and heavy sweater. I glanced around to see if anyone else had noticed and almost burst out laughing at the look on my conversational companion’s face.

 “You see him, don’t you?”

“Shut up, I don’t see anything!” he snapped, even as he stared right at the apparition, eyes wide.

I glanced back at the ghost. He still looked terrified and while I would have liked to ease his fear, there was no way I was going to start talking to him. From what I could tell, only one of the other campers could see him. I wasn’t about to start calming thin air!

I started toward the ranger cabin. As the temperature continued to drop an icy fog rolled over ground that hadn’t frozen over yet and slithered between trees that had witnessed history. I glanced around, smiling at the irony of the spooky atmosphere in light of what I’d just seen.  My smile faded.

Everywhere I looked,, ghosts in uniform moved in an eerie tempo, their legs moving even as they floated above the ground.  They were oblivious to the fog,, and my presence.

Knowing my brother’s call could wait a bit longer, I stopped and took in the scene. The men seemed lost, confused. Something stood out; they all wore blue. That confused me as my fellow campers were all southerners. Weren’t we in rebel territory?  Deciding the answer could wait, I hiked to the phone and put in the call.

The rest of the trip was uneventful and I was soon taking in beautiful scenery as my friend drove away from the park. My curiosity ate at me until I had to ask…

“Was there a Civil War battle fought near here?”

My friend looked at me as if trying to determine whether or not I was messing with him.

“Look, the Civil War bores me.  I find the Revolutionary War far more interesting. Was there a battle near here or not?”

“We were camping is on an old Civil War battlefield!”

“How the hell was I supposed to know that?  By the way, which side won?”

That look again.

“What?!” I replied, exasperated.

“Why do you think there’s a Virginia and a West Virginia?”

“Ah.”

Well, that explained why there were so many Union soldiers, Union territory.

To this day, that stands out as one of the more incredible ghostly experiences I’ve had., thought it isn’t the only one that took place on a historical battlefield, which brings me to the relationship between ghosts and EMFs…

All Hollow’s Eve is supposed to be a time when the veil between the living and those who have passed thins, enabling us to see and communicate with them. Well, not exactly…

It isn’t a time that brings about this phenomenon, but geography.

Ghosts don’t appear because they are EMFs. Rather, they appear when specific electromagnetic frequencies act as a medium in which they can become visible.

To illustrate.  Many people, myself included, have seen ghosts on the sites of great battles. This makes perfect sense if you consider that battle locations are chosen strategically.  They are places where there is cover from which to ambush an enemy. They are places where supplies and medical help can be brought in as needed. Places in mountains and ravines, places near rivers. Places, in other words, that are surrounded by geographical fault lines; fault lines that give off very low and ultra low electromagnetic frequencies.

It’s no coincidence that people report paranormal events in larger numbers near places where the earth’s EMF’s are in abundance.  I’m not the only researcher to observe this phenomenon either.

Though I may be one of the few who not only observes it, but experiences it as well, giving me a rather unique perspective
